Yeah it’s true, we got asked about getting permission to remix the music we did for Iji a while back for a game called Indie Brawl
Now we’ve never actually had that request before, and since it came at a time we were thinking of remixing something of our own (i.e. Iji since all the other stuff is only being released now and that’d be silly), we thought we’d do it. So we did. And here it is.

Iji OST Remake:
Since we plan on remaking the entire Iji Original Soundtrack during the summer/fall and selling it for a tiny price on our website (helps power the cogs in our basements, and buys our sandwiches on sandwich Thursday, feels awkward going to those sandwich groups without a piece..), we’re hoping that maybe some of the Iji fans can give insight into how much they’d happily pay for a full high quality remade Iji soundtrack, if anything at all!
It’ll be like this, only higher quality, since this isn’t just a contract job, this is a dedication to the music lovers who enjoyed our work on the Iji OST, as long ago as it was. We’ve grown a lot since then, and are significantly better at what we do now, so the Iji Remake will be something you will want if you still are fond of the old, low quality over compressed tracks we made when we were really noobish, we’re still noobish, just we don’t compress things so hard!
I’d pay $10 (AKA the good ol’ cheater $9.99 USD ploy) for a remake album, since there’s so much content in the original. Particularly if you guys throw in a remade version of Organ Smash too, which is -such- a good song.
I think your Average Joe would probably want to cough up no more than $6 though ($5.99) since people are cheap. I think people would want like an updated version at the game for $10. People are assholes.
Extra points if the remade OST can be plugged straight into the game to upgrade the music in game altogether.
It will be instantly implementable into the game. We will probably do a $4 and $8 option, but we’re not sure yet. Cross that bridge when we cross that bridge! MWAHAH!! thanks for the support though

Hey, just came here after playing Iji, loved the soundtrack, especially Tor and Face to Face, so this remix is quite pleasing to me. I’d pay for the soundtrack, definitely.
This medley is soooo freaking awesome! I’m glad to hear you’re gonna be remaking the entire soundtrack soon! As far as price goes, I’d pay at least $10 for Tor alone! I LOVE that song! XD
This mix is f**king AWESOME i really enjoyed the original iji soundtrack especially sinc right now i’m listning to the face to face mp3 i like every song and sound on sound track and i appreciate that you are doing something that appeals to fans of the iji soundtrack
Thanks guys! I forgot to mention that Organ Smash will be included. We will try and stay as faithful to the original soundtrack as possible without stepping on any toes in the process.
That makes sense in my head, trust me. I think the $5.99 price with a donation option beside that for those who want to give more could be the best option.

Iji is a truly wonderful game, one of the greatest I have ever seen, and the soundtrack is awesome too. Got it on my music player – a cool thing, when it kicks in on shuffle.
Yes, I’d be willing to pay for a Ultra-Hi-Quality OST, especially if it includes some extras, like remixes; not that much, since I’m still a student and, as such, short on money, but some things in life are really worth their price.

at the moment we’re swamped with work but we will do this, this year. It’ll be worth the price, whether that is set or not yet I don’t rightly know, we’ll either do a fixed price of a donation process or something.

Great, I’m at a loss for words…
To be honest, what sold me on Iji was the music itself. Tor, in my opinion, is one of THE BEST boss fight songs I’ve ever come across in a game.
As to what that means for an OST… someone else has apparently captured my feelings here:
I’ll pay $10 for Tor alone. (Ok, that’s a bit of hyperbole, but awesome song is awesome!)
